Pilates with Neeti and Chiyo! This one hour Pilates class, is an effective full-body workout with body awareness, improving muscle strength, coordination & flexibility. The focus is on coordinating breathing together with controlled movements. This class is recommended for all levels.

Colis du Coeur provides food and hygienic products for free to people in precarious situation. The distribution is customized to allow families from 3000 homes to choose what they need.

Thursday Gentle Yoga with Ping
Take a mindful pause toward the end of the week. This gentle class focuses on slow, soothing movement, deep stretches, and moments of stillness to help release tension and recharge. Pop Up Art-Make Your Own Mosaic
Michelle is going to show you how to make your own mosaic candle holder similar to the ones shown in the photo. No experience is necessary as she will walk you through each step. From choosing a color scheme and your tesserae, to arranging and glueing and finally grouting.
This is a two part process taking place on November 18 and November 25 so please make sure you are available both dates before signing up. Part 1 will be designing and gluing your candleholder. Part 2 will be grouting your candleholder. Both parts are 9-11.
The cost is 20CHF to pay for the materials which you will give Michelle at the first session. Because of space, class is limited to 10 people. If there is a large waiting list, Michelle will happily look into doing another session in the new year.

Come and help with the bi-annual collection of food and hygiene products for people in need living in the Canton of Geneva. The items donated during Partage are sent to a central warehouse where they are sorted for distribution to more than 50 charities. At the last Partage, more than 150 tonnes of food and hygiene products were collected and Partage needs about 1100 volunteers to make this possible.
Limited French is not a problem and instruction will be provided. You just need to be able to greet people with a smile, hand out the bags the customers need to fill, show them the list of needed items and collect bags again once they have been filled.
We have three time slots and need at least 2 volunteers for each one. Please feel free to register for one or several slots. Thank you for your help!

Join us on the first Monday of the month (subject to change some months) to watch a movie in a local cinema followed by discussion of the movie over a glass of wine or a coffee in a nearby café. Join us for a trip to Montreux to visit one of the wonderful Christmas Markets in Switzerland.
Lots of vendors and a beautiful lake front.
We will take a train from Geneva- Gare Cornavin. You must purchase your own ticket. Meeting time and train information will be provided prior to the trip
You will have time to wander around the market and then meet back up with the group for lunch which will be paid by each attendee.

There is no fixed return time, but train and time options will also be provided prior to the trip.

Are you feeling unsure about wrapping gifts before Christmas? Come and learn some simple tips to make your wrapping look neat and beautiful.

AIWC club member Beth Ann Dahan, long-time wine educator and vineyard owner will lead us through a tasting of a variety of wines. All wine lovers welcome – no experience or prerequisite required!
The cost of this course will be CHF 15-20 to cover the cost of the wines. Please bring this to the class and pay directly to Beth Ann.
The Wine Tasting Seminars will take place at different times over the course of the year. Each class is a stand-alone class.

Hike Information Session: everyone can randonee!
Are you interested in leading a hike AIWC? Do you want information for your own hikes? Debra Lipson and Sara Grummer-Strawn will discuss maps, guidebooks, and hiking apps to find trails and routes of various lengths in Geneva canton and further afield; also, review public transit schedules, weather considerations, safety issues and other tips to ensure everyone is welcome and has fun on the hike!
Join Rebecca and Maria for coffee and an interesting subject. Past topics have included favorite Swiss holidays, public transport, hiking in Geneva, health, and more. Stay tuned to the Hotline for more information about our next Thursdays Together.

In December, instead of lunch we will have Afternoon Tea at Christie’s Patisserie & Tearoom.
Christie’s is a family business that was founded as a home bakery in 2015. Olga, the owner and head pâtissière had a successful career in banking before going into baking. Baking with her daughter was always fun and after moving to Geneva from London it became a passion, that included a lot of studying, training and creating.
Cost: 35 CHF (Champagne or Prosecco at additional cost)

Dietary Restrictions Dishes
We all need recipes to use when we have to take account of intolerances, be it gluten or lactose or something else.
Please bring along a dish sweet or savory to share and we can exchange ideas of how food can still be delicious when certain ingredients need to be excluded.

Picnic in a park
Do you struggle for inspirational and practical food to take along to a picnic? We must all have our favorite so please come along and share them with your fellow gourmets. Once you RSVP, you will receive details about which park.

A change of venue for our second picnic, beside our beautiful Lac Leman. If you don’t fancy preparing anything there is a pop-up pizza stand and the possibility to paddle or swim.
